Stuart J. Whitmore grew up near Puget Sound, spent the first five years of his adult life mostly on the other side of the Atlantic, and eventually returned to the US. Having seen many places, he feels lucky to have been born in the Cascadia region.

Stuart has done many things in his career, including issuing plane tickets, programming a wide range of computers, and producing cable TV content. Long before he started a "career," though, he started writing long-form fiction. Stuart drafted a fantasy novel in 9th and 10th grade, and he had three full-length novels drafted while he was still in his teens. Always looking to the future and willing to try new technology, Stuart self-published his first e-book before Amazon.com existed.
